The Naming of Cats

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Family portrait... the best I could manage, lazy beasts lol!!

The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
 It isn't just one of your holiday games;
 You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter
 When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
From The Naming Of Cats, TS Eliot

Of course, here at Indikon we think that three names is not nearly enough :D.... here are some of the daft things we call the kittens:

Digory- Digs, Diggidy, Digory-Do, Digorydoodah, Big D

Caspian- Sillytail, Kinkytail, Little Scrap, Scraplet, Fishface (I don't know why, he has a lovely face!!!)

Jadis- Jah, Jay, Jadie, Zsa Zsa Gabor

Lucy- Lulu, Lucy-Lu, Lucifer, Monkeyface

Aravis- Arry, Ariadne, Darling

Susan- Suki, Susie, Madam, Missy, Princess Poutyface

Jewel- Miss J, Jujube, Cheeky, Peanut, Monkeynut

Aren't we silly?

Of course anything I call them is temporary. Their Narnia names will be their pedigree name, and their everyday name- or names, if they are as daft as me- will be up to their new families. And two of them have already been chosen! Digory and Jadis's new people have gone for a Disney theme, and their new names will be...... FIGARO and TIGERLILY! And (this is cute) Figgy and Tiggy for short! Perfect.
