Today we had our first visitors. S and P have had Siamese before, but it was a neighbour's Tonk who introduced them to the breed. They came over today to meet the kittens, and chose sweet little Aravis to be their cat.
Huzzah!
I would never have guessed that dear little lovebug Aravis would be the first to be snapped up. She's the most sedate of the bunch, and I thought she might be overlooked next to her more boisterous siblings. However, she quietly charmed her way into S and P's hearts and that was it! Nicely done, sweetheart!
The kittens did very well with their visit. They were nursing when S and P arrived, and some had drifted off to sleep, but after a few dopey moments were happy to come and play. There was one hiss (Lucy!) and after that they all romped and cuddled quite happily. Mama was her usual super friendly self, and Theo had his share of the fuss. Even Sofia poked her nose out right at the end, although I suspect she was more interested in food then anything else!
Sweet Aravis! I'm so happy for her and I know she's going to love her new family.
